The first time I went out this morning it was sprinkling a bit and overcast, so I was worried we wouldn’t be able to do our walk. Rama was bouncing off the walls, anticipating our daily outing. Thank goodness by the time we had to head out the door, it had stopped sprinkling. I brought an umbrella just in case, but we made it through the entire walk with no sign of rain.
I was delighted to find that the loquat trees in the neighborhood were now bearing fruit and snagged a few from a tree that is along our regular route. What a yummy treat!
There are quite a few wooded areas along our walk as well and I stopped to snap a few shots. It is still cool enough that the mosquitoes haven’t been ridiculous. I haven’t seen one in a little while, oddly enough. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
Rama was a bit better with the pulling this morning, though there were still several stops and starts. At least when I stop she automatically repositions herself. Teaching her Finish should be a breeze. I do do short spurts of light jogging but she is not old enough for full-on roadwork yet. When she is, she will be in heaven. She loves to run.
|“Come on, Mom. Let’s go!”
Someone is mooing behind me for her breakfast, so I will wrap this up for now. Busy day today as we prepare to head out at the butt crack of dawn in the morning for another show. I see a bath in someone’s future!
