A Corso In The Kitchen–Lamb, Couscous, Fresh Tomatoes And Herbs

6

April 17, 2012 by Shannon

Our garden is starting to yield some yummy things.  We cook with a lot of fresh herbs and it seems like I never have enough.  Last night I went out back and grabbed a variety of things from the garden to add to the lamb I’d chosen for dinner.  Here’s what I came back with:

Doing her best bow for a bite of something yummy

Lamb is a favorite around here

“I is a very good girl, Mama.   See how good I do a Down?   I needs some lambs, too.”

The fresh basil and tomatoes from the garden eventually got topped with mozzarella and an 18  year old balsamic
The lamb got an array of fresh herbs from the garden and some spices for extra zest
Sun-dried tomato and garlic couscous

“I is still here.  And I is still being good.”

Thanks so much. We've tinkered with the layout lately in an effort to make it more sleek and user-friendly, plus visually appealing. 🙂 And yes, a Corso! We ❤ her. She really is the easiest dog I've ever had. Thanks for the compliments! Of course we are biased but we think she is beautiful, too. 🙂 We really enjoyed your blog as well and will be reading from now on. Thanks so much for coming by to visit and do come again!
