Father’s Day & A Full House

5

June 18, 2012 by Shannon

Yesterday we had a house full of people and dogs as we celebrated Father’s Day.  Rama was very excited to see her cousin dogs B & Boo (Bianca and Boo Bear), and even though Boo didn’t actually play with her, he didn’t snarl and snap at her, either, so that was a nice change of pace.  He tolerated her well, and I think she appreciated having another dog around who was closer to her size.  Please forgive the photo quality as my cell phone was the only camera I had handy and it’s not so great.   :-/  For some reason my camera battery charger has gone AWOL.

Who’s here?

It’s B!
And Boo!

Hi!

Rama followed Boo into the kitchen with a big goofy grin on her face

Boo was tired from his trip

Rama kept smelling him so he decided to try and find a more private spot

Auntie Kristen (The Mama’s sister) made fried okra that she brought from her garden

Uncle Mitchell & Ciara

Boo stuck behind one of the gates

B wanted some okra

Seidye giving me the stink eye

She was banished to the other room for being less than hospitable

She was a little embarrassed about it

Boo saw something that interested him on the porch

A cat!

Rama hung out with Dad while he watched golf

She also solicited lots of pets from everyone else
Sacrilege!

Despite Seidye’s time out and the lack of romping around the back yard (we tried, but Boo was more interested in smelling) it was a fun day with all the dads.  We had hamburgers, hot dogs and meatball subs.  The dogs of course got some leftovers and Meemaw passed out some chewies (which was how Seidye ended up in time out) for all the dogs.
Next big occasion is The Daddy’s birthday!  It’s coming soon!

That looks like it wast LOTS of fun! I get stuck behind a gate more than I would like to say! It sucks. Oh, well, as long as foddables are provided, it's not so bad!
